How Do I Talk to the Owner?

Camplify acts as an intermediary between owners and renters. None of the recreational vehicles belong to Camplify.

To Communicate with an Owner on Camplify, Follow These Steps:

Registration and Search:

  1. Create a profile by registering on camplify.es.
  2. Search for the option you like best by determining the location or destination where you want to start your next adventure and choose the dates.

Booking:

  1. There are two types of listings: those that allow you to send a booking request and those with instant booking.
  2. After sending a booking request, you can access the messaging system from your Camplify account to send messages directly to the owner.

Messaging:

  • Use the Camplify messaging system to communicate with the owner. You can send as many messages as you need.

Security:

  • Keep all communications within the Camplify platform.
  • Never make payments outside the platform and report to Camplify if any owner asks you to do so. Payments made outside the platform are not secure, and Camplify will not be able to help you in case of problems.

Decalogue of a Good Renter on Camplify

Complete Registration:

  • Complete your registration and account details, including the profile photo.

Listing Information:

  • Read the "Important Things" and "Rental Rules" sections in the listing before sending a booking request or making an Instant Booking.

Authorized Driver:

  • The authorized driver must be the one making the booking. If not, or if there are additional drivers, contact Camplify.

Deposit Payment:

  • Once your booking request is approved, you have a maximum of 24-48 hours to make the deposit payment or the total booking amount. If you need more time, contact the owner or Camplify. For Instant Booking, you have 15 minutes to make the payment; after this time, the booking will be automatically canceled.

General Questions:

  • For questions related to payments, cancellations, insurance, deductibles/deposits, modifications, and extensions in bookings, contact Camplify.

Vehicle Handover:

  • Ensure that on the day of handover, the owner completes the pre-rental verification form. It is also your responsibility to review everything and ask all your questions. The handover can take about an hour. It is advisable to be present for the post-rental form, although the owner may sometimes require up to 48 hours after handover to check everything is in order. You can also take photos and record any damage. This can protect you in case any damage is reported upon return. If you have no experience, ask the owner to take a test drive with you to gain confidence with the vehicle.

In Case of Doubts:

  • Do not force anything. If you have any doubts, stop and contact the owner or Camplify.

Responsibility During the Rental:

  • You are responsible for the vehicle during the rental. If you damage anything, contact the owner or Camplify immediately. In case of an accident/damage with an identified third party, it is mandatory to complete the amicable accident report as appropriate. Vehicle Return:

  • Return the vehicle in the same condition in which it was handed over to avoid additional charges.
